Davis's Enchanted Bicycles started with the idea of electric bikes. But i was amazed by just how easy it is to import bikes from china to sell here in Cambridge or London. This got me thinking about the other costs associated with this system, the social and environment costs. For example a pair of plastic mudguards being made in a factory that has no other interest than to maximise profits, then shipped to Europe or U.S by a shipping company that has no other interest than to maximise profit. All this just to be consumed and thrown way to land fill to lie in the ground for one thousand years, then repeated..... There must be a better way.
